Welcome To Our New Web Portal!

The City of Princeton is proud to unveil the new City Government portal, which is the result of the collective efforts of city government leaders and staff members who worked closely with national e-government software and services provider eGov Strategies LLC – based out of Indianapolis.

The new web-based portal leverages the latest in responsive design technology to provide web-based information and online services in a format that is optimized for all web-capable devices – from smartphones to tablets to desktop PCs.

Features of the new government portal include:

  • Mobile-friendly design that dynamically conforms to the device that is being used to access the website. Thus, smartphone and tablet users can just as easily navigate the website as those arriving from a PC.
  • Ability for government staff to make updates and changes and customize department page images
  • Citizen-friendly tools including an Events Calendar, Document Center, Services Index and Staff Directory.
  • Innovative online services that include the following:
    • the Action Center that enables constituents to report issues or request service and provides a mechanism for government staff to track and follow up on the requests;
    • E-Notify system that enables constituents to register to receive email and text alerts – and provides an easy mechanism for staff to publish those updates to the website and to deliver them via email and/or text message; and
    • a Map Viewer that enables the governments to easily create and publish maps.
